Chamberlain Liftmaster

Chamberlain Liftmaster garage door openers have a long history that dates back to the late sixties but the company’s roots are not only in garage door openers. Chamberlain entered the garage door openers market when it bought the company who made the Perma Power garage door opener, a popular American brand at the time. They changed the name almost straight away to market it under the Chambron name during the 1970’s, later switching to the Electrolift name until about 1985 and then made a final change to the current Liftmaster brand.
